(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) Sept 10, 2022 — Yesterday [Sept 8] during midday, two subjects driving an SUV were pulled over for several vehicle code violations in the evacuated area of the #mosquitofire. The driver was a convicted felon, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, and was driving on a suspended driver’s license.

An EDSO K9 provided a positive alert to the odor of controlled substances emitting from the SUV. A search of the SUV yielded firearms, ammunition, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were arrested for firearm and drug charges.
