(SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA) July 27, 2022 — The Tahoe Network of Fire Adapted Communities, Lake Valley Fire and South Lake Tahoe Fire are hosting a South Shore Neighborhood Leader Meet-and-Greet for those interested in learning how to become a designated Firewise USA® neighborhood. The meeting will be on August 3, 2022 from 5:30pm -7:30pm at the South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue Training Center, 1195 Rufus Allen Blvd. This will also be an opportunity for Neighborhood Leaders to meet other leaders (or potential leaders) and share ideas.

The Tahoe Network of Fire Adapted Communities will debut the new Neighborhood Leader Handbook, which details the steps to become a Neighborhood Leader and how to lead your neighborhood to recognition as a Firewise USA® site.
