“Mom & Pop Chicken Shop” has New Plans for El Dorado Hills

PLACERVILLE, Calif. May 27, 2022 — The owners of Mom & Pop Chicken Shop are planning a new concept for their El Dorado Hills location, which will close its doors this weekend.
Mom & Pop Chicken Shop is a locally owned restaurant that serves fried chicken, sandwiches, buffalo wings, tenders, salads, burgers, tacos and french fries. It has locations in the El Dorado Hills Town Center and in Cameron Park.
The El Dorado Hills site opened in November 2020, and the Cameron Park restaurant opened late last year.
Owner Nick Dedier said the El Dorado Hills location at 4355 Town Center Blvd., Suite 114, will close on Sunday in preparation for a new concept he and partner/beverage director Alexa Hazelton plan to open in the space this summer. The new business will be called Almighty Food Co.
The owners said their daily wellness routine influenced their decision to open the new concept, described as a fine-casual restaurant that works with local farms to provide ingredients and sustainably sourced meats and vegetables.
Menu items include soups and salads, bowls, tartines and sandwiches and other sides. Its drink menu will feature Northern California wines and local beers, sangria and mimosas, as well as nonalcoholic beverages.
