PLACERVILLE, Calif. — On April 24, 2022 – Just after 4 pm today El Dorado County Fire Protection District Engine 26, Medic 25, Division 7703, Chief 7700, Engine 28, Engine 19 Diamond Springs El Dorado Fire Protection District Engine 349 and CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit Engine 2771 and 2781 responded to a residential structure fire on Carla Drive in Placerville.

Crews aggressively attacked the fire that had reportedly spread from the garage into the home.

No occupants were injured.

A fire investigator is investigating the cause of the fire.
