Sherriff’s Office Issued BOLO for White SUV

(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) Oct 28, 2022 — On 10-27-2022, EDSO received two reports of suspicious activity, one in El Dorado Hills and one in Cameron Park. In El Dorado Hills a female student reported being contacted by an older white male with olive colored skin, driving a white SUV. The student was at a bus stop in the area of the Blackstone subdivision when the male pulled up in the vehicle and asked the student if she wanted a ride. The vehicle then left the area.

In Cameron Park in the area of Green Valley Road and La Crescenta Drive, a female student reported an older white male, with white hair driving a white van, pulled up next to her and told her to get into his car. The student ran away. This student was also in the area of a bus stop.

The Sherriff’s Office has issued a BOLO, (Be On the Lookout), for similar vehicles and any suspicious activity of this nature. The Sheriff’s Office is conducting Extra Patrols with our School Resource Officers and our Patrol units. The Sheriff’s Office Investigation’s Unit is following up on all possible leads and this investigation is ongoing. The Sheriff’s Office takes these types of reports very seriously, and we will provide updates as they become available.
