Fire Simulations of Shingle Springs / Cameron Park Areas

PLACERVILLE, California (InEDC) Dec 1, 2022 — This will be the 1st of 5 forums and each subsequent event will build on the previous. The goal is to educate the public on reducing risk associated with catastrophic wildfire. This 1st forum will focus on the unique land areas in the Shingle Springs / Cameron Park area. Topography, winds, temperature and fuel moisture levels will be taken into consideration. The simulations will provide real time feedback in demonstrating wildfire behavior.
