Jersey Mike’s apparently planning location near Placerville

PLACERVILLE, California (InEDC) Nov 17, 2022 — It appears Jersey Mike’s Subs, a sandwich chain from New Jersey, plans to join a retail center near Placerville that’s being renovated.
The website for Prospector’s Plaza, at the southeast quadrant of Highway 50 and Missouri Flat Road, lists Jersey Mike’s as coming soon. The sandwich chain’s website also confirms the planned location, but does not specify a schedule for opening.
Prospector’s Plaza is one of the largest shopping centers in El Dorado County and is anchored by a Target store that opened in 2020. A renovation project at Prospector’s Plaza is expected to be completed by fall 2023, according to the center’s website. Other planned additions to the center include Quick Quack Car Wash, Aspen Dental and Dunkin’, the website states.
Jersey Mike’s is a franchise chain with many locations in the Sacramento area, and at least one other local site in the works. That restaurant will be in Fair Oaks.
