Megan Brennan, Food Bank of El Dorado County

PLACERVILLE, California (InEDC) Nov 15, 2022 — On October 28th, the Men’s Ministries of Foothills Church held its annual golf tournament at Cold Springs Country Club. This one-day event was filled with great golf, food and fellowship.

After the golfers turned in their score card, the evening began with a prayer and then Tournament Chairman, Steve Foster, introduced the community charities that would share in the proceeds of the gold tournament: The Center for Violence Free Relationships and the Food Bank of El Dorado County!

Both charities had the opportunity to speak to the guests and Steve Foster explained the importance of partnering with non-profits in the community. Partnerships, collaborations and working together to help others right here in our own backyards, that’s what it’s all about.
