PLACERVILLE, California (Johnson Attorneys Group) Nov 11, 2022 — One was hospitalized after a DUI crash on Placerville Drive near Highway 50 in Placerville.

According to an article published by the Mountain Democrat, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 10 a.m.

The incident happened on November 10 when a GMC Sierra 2500 and a Toyota Camry Hybrid collided. The two cars crashed on Placerville Drive near the Highway 50 overpass.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the driver of the Toyota who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Marshall Hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, officials determined that the motorist in the GMC was under the influence when he hit the victim. They soon arrested him for DUI.
