(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) Oct 20, 2022 — The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians in collaboration with the Native American Center for Arts and Culture present Nise˙ Tu˙le: Our Relations showing at the Center Street Gallery through Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. The gallery is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday from 1-5pm. Address: 3182 Center St, Placerville, CA 95667

Nise˙ Tu˙le: Our Relations is a celebration of family and community. The portraits on display reflect the beauty of our human, plant and animal relatives and the land that sustains us.

Participating regional tribal artists include Tiffany Adams, Jacky Calanchini, Johnny Clay, Hannah Crouse, Jacinda Tayaba, Jessica Godsey, Mahi Kaluhiokalani, Jaime Lanouette, Meyo Marrufo, and Kat Solares.

The closing reception is on Saturday, Nov. 5, from noon-4pm. Light snacks will be available.
