(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) Sept 25, 2022 — YUBA COUNTY, Calif. — A 27-year-old El Dorado Hills woman was killed Around 6:45 p.m. on Friday night in a head-on crash near the Yuba County community of Forbestown.

The 27-year-old woman from El Dorado Hills was driving southbound in a Ford pickup truck on New York Flat Road north of Idlewood Circle when she collided head-on with another Ford F150 truck that was traveling northbound.

The collision caused the woman’s truck to roll, according to authorities and the woman driver was ejected from her truck causing major injuries. The CHP says the woman died from her injuries at the scene.

The driver of the second truck wasn’t injured in the crash.

While officials say the crash is still under investigation, they do not suspect alcohol or drugs as factors in the collision.
