(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) Sept 23, 2022 — Eros was born November 13, 2009 in Germany. He became a K9 for EDSO in 2012 and this is where the partnership between Eros and Sergeant Coburn started.

Eros and Sergeant Coburn worked as an effective team from 2012 – 2017. Eros took his job very seriously, protecting Sergeant Coburn and his beat partners, catching criminals and protecting his family at home. Eros was particularly good at apprehension.

After retirement, Eros took a liking to his lazy dog days, but always maintained security at home.

Eros will be missed by his family and his partners at the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office.
