Tahoe Transient Arrested for Assault With Deadly Weapon

(SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA) Sept 1, 2022 — A local man was arrested last weekend for allegedly assaulting a victim with scissors, authorities said Tuesday.
Kristopher Wendell Clark, 47, a local transient who South Lake Tahoe Police said is known for riding his bike around town yelling at others, or himself, was taken into custody Saturday after a physical altercation with a known victim led to felony assault with a deadly weapon, scissors.
“I bet most locals have probably seen him riding his bike around town, usually yelling,” South Lake Tahoe Police Department Detective Sgt. Scott Crivelli said. “Clark and the victim have had run-ins with each other before. They started yelling at each other from across Lake Tahoe Boulevard,” which is what started the incident.
