(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) Aug 28, 2022 — One person Seriously Injured in Placerville Motorcycle Accident on Ice House Road near Weber Mill Road.

One person was airlifted to the hospital after being injured in a motorcycle accident in Placerville on Saturday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 8:55 p.m. on Ice House Road near Weber Mill Road.

A motorcycle was traveling on the roadway when he collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck in unclear circumstances.

The rider sustained major injuries including a possible spinal injury and was flown to the hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
