(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) Aug 5, 2022 — The 2022 Caldor Fire Road Repair Project consists of pavement rehabilitation of multiple sections of roadway in the Placerville and Grizzly Flat area, including grinding and overlay of hot mix asphalt.

No trees will be affected by this activity.

The project will require lane closures, but no road closures are anticipated.

Duration of the construction activity is anticipated to be approximately forty-five (45) working days.

Reasons for CEQA Exemption:
The work consists of minor alteration, repair and replacement of an existing public facility involving negligible expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of this determination. These minor modifications to existing facilities will improve and maintain the existing pavement and shoulders.
