Dorado Oaks Town Hall

Area Supervisor Brings Concerned Citizens and Developer Together

Wendy Thomas, District 3 Supervisor

(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) June 29, 2022 — Great News, Diamond Springs Community! I reached out to Stonehenge Springs, LLC, the Developers of Dorado Oaks, to meet the partners and convey our community’s deep concerns over this project. I was delighted to learn that the actual partners (not just the consultants) are scheduled to attend the regularly scheduled Diamond Springs/El Dorado Community Advisory Committee July 21 at 6 p.m.

Originally, the Diamond Springs Coalition had invited me to their meeting to “speak briefly on my vision for District 3”. However, this new opportunity is much more important! Therefore, we will be combining the Coalition meeting with the DSEDCAC so YOU can meet the developers of Dorado Oaks yourself, hear where the project is in the development process, ask them your questions directly and raise your voice to those who are designing the project.

We will be moving the venue to the Board of Supervisors chambers at 330 Fair Lane so we have the capacity to record the meeting as well as offer zoom for those of you who can’t attend! Many challenges have been identified with the proposal as it stands today.

Looking forward to giving you the opportunity to engage with the Dorado Oaks developers firsthand and having your voice heard. See you on July 21 in the BOS Chambers!
