(PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA) June 20, 2022 — EL DORADO COUNTY IMPLEMENTING CLOSURE OF BEATTY DRIVE

FROM VIA FIORI TO POWERS DRIVE
June 21, 2022 through October 19, 2022

El Dorado County’s Department of Transportation, in conjunction with The New Home Company Northern California LLC, will be implementing a closure of Beatty Drive from Via Fiori to Powers Drive beginning Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 at 6:00 am for a period of up to 120 days, as approved by the County’s Board of Supervisors at the meeting on June 14, 2022. This road closure will enable installation of curb, gutter, sidewalk, underground utilities, and drainage improvements along Beatty Drive.

Vehicles will be routed around the area via alternate arterial roads. Motorists should utilize Wilson Boulevard to El Dorado Hills Boulevard and Saratoga Way south of the closure, and Alexandra Drive to Sophia Parkway north of the closure. Note that Powers Drive is a private gated road for residents of Kalithea in The Promontory only, and it is not to be used as a detour for non-residents. Portable message signs will be placed on major routes throughout the duration of the road closure.

Motorists are advised to slow down in the work zone and expect delays during construction. Motorists are also advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone in order to arrive at their destinations on time or use alternate routes to avoid the construction area.

The County sincerely appreciates the cooperation and patience of motorists that use this roadway and we apologize for any inconvenience as a result of the detour.
