UPDATE: EDSO is currently investigating found human remains in Forest Service lands off Wentworth Springs Road in the Georgetown area. Detectives and CSI are working to locate any evidence of a crime. At this time, we have no information on an identity, or a cause of death. We have no further information at this time, and we will provide updates as information becomes available.

EDSO is currently conducting an investigation on Wentworth Springs Road outside of Georgetown. You may see several law enforcement vehicles in the area, which typically generates curiosity. The road is open and there is no known threat to public safety. We will provide further information if it becomes available.
