PLACERVILLE, Calif. — In the very early hours of Saturday morning deputies conducted a traffic stop on Robin Lane at Saratoga Lane in Cameron Park. Apollo, one of our narcotic detection canines, provided a positive alert on the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle resulted in locating controlled substances, used hypodermic needles, pipes, and other drug paraphernalia.

The two occupants of the vehicle were also in possession of other people’s mail from the Rescue/Shingle Springs area. Deputies responded to the area of the addressed mail and located evidence of mail theft.

28 year old Elijah Thomas was arrested and booked for mail theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 33 year old Frederick Wolger was arrested and booked for mail theft.
