El Dorado Hills Art, Beer & Wine Festival returns over Mother’s Day weekend

EL DORADO HILLS, CALIF – After being cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to shutdowns throughout the pandemic, the El Dorado Hills Art, Beer & Wine Festival returns over Mother’s Day weekend in El Dorado Hills Town Center.

The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce has produced this regional event since 2003 and presents the festival again in collaboration with its Premier Partners, sponsors, artists, breweries, wineries, community supporters and volunteers. The El Dorado Hills Art, Beer & Wine Festival will be held 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 7, and Sunday, May 8, and is free to attend. Unlimited tasting tickets for noon to 4:30 p.m. can be purchased by May 6 for $35 or $45 at the gate. Event volunteers can each receive a free tasting ticket by signing up at tinyurl.com/2p98p8ka (must be age 21 or older to redeem; everyone will be carded).

Festival guests will enjoy perusing the offerings of about 115 booths with some of the region’s best artists, award-winning breweries and wineries and community businesses. Participating breweries include At Ease Brewing Company, East Brother Beer Company, Firestone Walker Brewing, Gold Vibe Kombuchary, Indigeny Reserve, Knee Deep Brewing, Moonraker, Palmia, River Rock Brewery, Sacrament Brewing, Sierra Nevada Brewery, Slo Brew, and Strainge Beast Hard Kombucha. Participating wineries include: Adkins Family Vineyards, Bradley Ranch Winery, Bumgarner Winery & Vineyards, Crystal Basin Cellars, Drinjk EEZY, Element 79 Vineyards, Golden Leaves Vineyard & Winery, Lava Cap, Mediterranean Vineyards, Mellowood Vineyard, Myka Cellars, Nello Olivo Winery, Porch Pounder, Sierra Vista Winery and William Gunn Wines.

The amphitheater will feature entertainment from critically acclaimed Nikki Nation and band Whirl, regional rock-and-roll cover band Character Assassins, multi-disciplinary dance arts studio El Dorado Dance Academy and American’s Music School Bach to Rock. Theater Plaza will host a cornhole tournament and games courtesy of The Pool Table Guy. New this year are waterfront booths with more giveaways and community business specials.

Most of Town Center Boulevard will be closed to traffic but Town Center businesses will be open during the festival. Attendees can enjoy food from Town Center restaurants as well as additional options via food trucks from C. Knight’s Steakhouse’s own Ruffhaus Hot Dogs, Off the Vine Catering, Papi’s Kitchen and Gyro Stop.
