Sheriff’s Deputies Stepping Up Security Near School After Suspect Allegedly Violates Restraining Order

(El Dorado Hills, CALIFORNIA) Aug 18, 2022 — We have received multiple calls of Sheriff’s Office activity in the area of Fairchild Dr in El Dorado Hills, specifically near Jackson Elementary. As of this time, there are no specific threats to the school, any students, or the neighborhood.

Last night (8/17/2022), deputies responded to the area for the report of a restraining order violation. The suspect did not make any direct threats against the victim and there was no violence reported. The suspect fled prior to the deputies arrival. Deputies were circulating the area looking for the suspect but were unable to locate him.

As a precaution, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers are conducting extra patrol at the school during pickup and dismissal for the next several days and EDSO patrol units will be circulating in the area.
