Suicide Awareness Bus Makes A Stop

PLACERVILLE, Calif. May 26, 2022 — Suicide Awareness bus owner Cory Richez. 42, of Pietown, New Mexico, stands near a My Little Pony toy attached to the bus saying it was given to him by a grieving mother whose ten-year-old beauty pageant queen hung herself with an electrical cord in a closet after hearing the former 2019 Miss USA, Cheslie Kryst died by suicide in New York City in February of this year.
The bus made a stop in Sonora on Friday then headed to Placerville where they were given a Hero Coin by the El Dorado County Sheriff Department in memory of a deputy who ended his life in 2021.
Their next stop will be in Georgetown.
