Ranch Living – Almost got Ripped Off Today
(Cris Alarcon)
PLACERVILLE, Calif. May 23, 2022 — It is my own fault! I grew up here in El Dorado County but Sherri grew up in the City – I should have known better about Securing My Car in My Own Yard…
I was alerted when Sherri yelled out, “Hey, Get Out of There!”
She looked at me and said “She is breaking into the trunk to steal it.”
I jumped up and ran out and sure enough, there she was, trying to open the bag in the truck to help herself to my stuff! I yelled at her to get away and ran up to close my trunk lid. She looked put-out and messed with the trunk lid for a while.
It was too hot earlier in the day so I left the bag in the car, to take it out when it got cooler, but that horse-faced girl could smell the bag and came nosing around.
Sherri caught her just in time!
Horse-Face already had the top of the bag partly ripped open trying to steal the goods in it!
I grabbed it, still wet on top from her big lips!
I then brought the bag of Pedigree into safety after it was almost hijacked.
I did not think about the ranch horse wanting to try the dog’s food….

Proofread!
Hi Timothy, I was being clever but it sounds like I was too clever.
Where is my error?
