(InEDC) Cris Alacon, PLACERVILLE CA – Come out to this FREE community event! Saturday, October 7 from 3pm – 9pm. All your favorite Oktoberfest activities will be there! Wiener Dog Races, Kids Zone, German Band, Beer Hall Tent, Crafters and Main Street Merchants. Hungry and thirsty? We’ve got beer and food for sale! Get Bavarian Pretzels, Bratwurst and other delicious foods and of course the best local beers and wines from El Dorado County! All new this year is the EDWA Weingarten, where a dozen local wineries will have wines for sale!

It will feature all the classic Oktoberfest favorites with with the vibrant spirit of Bavaria as it hosts the highly anticipated Placerville Oktoberfest. 6:00pm: Red Dirt Ruckus – Bell Tower Stage

6:00pm: Kids Zone Closes

7:00pm: Beer Stein Competition – Mens Category – Bell Tower Stage

9:00pm: Oktoberfest ends
