One Arrested At Oak Ridge High School with Apparent Bags of Pot and a Scale

El Dorado Hills, Ca. (El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office) — 2.3.23 Deputy Rude and the School Resource Officer (SRO) team was called to Oakridge High School by staff for an incident with a contracted aid. The contracted aid was observed in a vehicle in the parking lot of the school and there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Oak Ridge High School immediately notified EDSO of this incident and Deputy Rude arrived shortly thereafter.

After investigation, the contracted aid was arrested for multiple controlled substance related charges. There has not been any evidence discovered at this point that the contracted aid was selling drugs to students or staff; no students were involved in the incident.
