El Dorado County, CA – Wednesday, Dec 6, 2023
As the holiday season warms hearts across El Dorado County, the Food Bank of El Dorado County gears up for its annual Holiday Outreach Program on Saturday, December 16th. This heartfelt initiative, hosted at the Food Bank distribution facility, aims to provide holiday assistance to low-income individuals facing financial challenges.
Community Unity in Action: This year’s program is made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and Barsotti Family Juice Co. Their commitment to community welfare exemplifies the spirit of giving that defines the holiday season. Joining forces with local donors, these organizations play a pivotal role in ensuring that every family in need experiences the warmth of the season.
Delivering Joy to the Doorsteps: Acknowledging the challenges faced by homebound residents, the Tribal Fire Department and Tribal Police Department are collaborating with the Food Bank of El Dorado County. Together, they will spearhead the delivery efforts, ensuring that those unable to visit the distribution facility still receive the support they deserve. Homebound individuals are encouraged to send their requests via email to info@foodbankedc.org.
