EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (October 9, 2023) – Several California law enforcement agencies announced increased patrols over the weekend following a devastating attack on Israeli civilians by the terror group Hamas.
Additional security measures were announced by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the police departments of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Long Beach, and Santa Monica. Patrols will be stepped up around Jewish institutions, including schools and synagogues.
So far, Israel has confirmed the deaths of at least 900 people, including nine U.S. citizens, making this the deadliest attack in the country’s history.
