EL DORADO COUNTY (October 6, 2023) – The victim of the homicide has been positively identified by EDSO coroner detectives as 36-year-old Cristina Lee Humlick of Prado Vista Court, Placerville. She grew up in South Lake Tahoe and was a member of the South Tahoe High Class of 2005.

Today at 1834 hours the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office responded to Prado Vista Ln, Placerville, Ca for report of stabbing that had occurred. When Deputies arrived, they located a female that was deceased in a residence
At a neighboring residence, a male was located suffering from traumatic wounds. The male was transported to an area hospital. At this time, the investigation is ongoing. Further information will be provided when it is available.
