EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (November 28, 2023) – The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office reports that in August of 2023 EDSO Sex Crimes Detectives, in conjunction with the High Tech Crimes Unit began investigating a 16 year old female who was allegedly selling nude photographs online.
The female in question also had a very well known online presence on a variety of social media platforms. Detectives ultimately discovered that the female in question was in fact selling illegal content online, and grossed approximately forty thousand dollars.
Upon further investigation Detectives also discovered that the female’s father, Scott Davis, was aware of the online activity and was complicit in the profit. On November 15th, Detectives executed a search warrant at Davis’s residence and he was taken into custody for a variety of charges including sex trafficking, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and child abuse.
