After 28 years of service with the California Highway Patrol, Placerville’s Sergeant Pope is retiring.
Sergeant Pope had a long and storied career with some major highlights. Sergeant Pope was an honored member of CHP’s SWAT, earned California’s Medal of Valor, was a coordinator of the California Motorcyclist Safety Program, and so much more.
But most importantly, he’s a great road sergeant and an even better father and husband.
We’ll miss your sage advice.
