The El Dorado County Fire Protection District worked Wednesday evening to put out a fire in Pollock Pines that burned two homes.
A spokesperson for the El Dorado County Fire Protection District said while the investigation into the fire is ongoing, it appears the fire started at one of the homes and spread to a second.
Captain Jacob Poganski said one person was taken to the hospital with minor burn injuries.
Reports of the fire came in at 5:54 p.m. and the fire was under control by 6:57 on Wednesday.
