PLACERVILLE, Ca. (InEDC) — Jul 5, 2023
Amador County CHP reports on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, Loretta Beall, 77-years-old of Pollock Pines, was traveling southbound SR-49 south of Bell Road in Amador County when for an unknown reason she made an unsafe turn to the left, causing her vehicle, a 2017 Nissan Rogue, to leave the roadway and collide with a tree east of the roadway.
CPR was performed on scene but Beall succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.
The CHP report also states safety equipment was not in use at the time of the accident. The roadway remained open during this investigation.
