EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (October 10, 2023) – Early Tuesday morning, a tragic incident occurred in El Dorado Hills, California, resulting in the unfortunate death of a man from Sacramento. The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident took place when the individual crashed their vehicle into a sturdy metal fence.
Following reports of a collision shortly after midnight, officers promptly arrived at Green Valley Road, located east of Sophia Parkway. Upon reaching the scene, they discovered a severely damaged Mercedes-Benz sedan, which had veered off the road and come to a halt. A subsequent investigation conducted by the officers revealed that the sedan had been traveling at an excessive speed. For reasons yet unknown, the driver deviated from the road and ultimately collided with a wrought iron fence, as stated in a press release.
