EID’s infrastructure is aging, just as it is all across the United States. Much of it is located underground, so it’s important to stay on top of critical repairs. It seems like these repairs many times aren’t a priority in some agencies’ budgets because they are “out of sight, out of mind.” But I can assure you that the district does not subscribe to that way of thinking.

“With hunting season starting today, we want to remind visitors that the Eldorado National Forest closure is still in effect,” said Crabtree. “Although we are gaining ground, the King Fire is still active, and there are a lot of firefighting resources still in the area. I intend to open more of the Forest as soon as it is safe to do so.”

Supervisor Ron Briggs claims to have no involvement in his father’s development project, even though he was caught speculating on several large parcels of land surrounding and abutting dad’s project. If no one from the County is speaking to John V. Briggs, it begs the question, who is negotiating for John Briggs in closed sessions on the parcel slated for the new courthouse?
