Ray Nutting has appealed the decision that raising bail was an "Official Duty" of an El Dorado County Supervisor. The court is being asked to rule in an emergency manner to avoid two people being elected for the same office. Due to the pending election only being conducted under the assumption that the office is vacant, a reversal of that decision would end the special election immediately.
