If the City Council really wants to build the Round-A-Bout and truly wants to violate the wishes of its citizens and deceive them, I’m not sure why the Council is going through this big costly charade of attempting to act like they are impartial and interested in listening to the public viewpoint while spending six figures on preparing a biased CEQA report based on several project alternatives, but favoring the Round-A-Bout selection with a preconceived outcome?

El Dorado County Supervisor Ray Nutting’s appeal to have the motion to dismiss was denied Thursday. Asking if his Appeal was an attempt to delay the trial, as the DA has opined, was met with a hearty outburst of laughter. "No" Nutting said after he regained composure. Nutting said that he will use every legal means to ensure that the DA is held to the highest ethical standards.
People between the ages of 45 and 64 have enrolled in California's health exchange at a much higher rate than their overall portion of the state's total population. If the trend holds up, it could mean that insurance plans are overweighted with older customers, and underweighted with younger, presumably healthier people. Since their premiums are much needed to offset the cost of benefits paid out to sicker individuals, that could lead to higher premium prices in 2015.
