Construction is scheduled for April 20 – May 14, on U.S. Highway 50 in El Dorado County near Shingle Springs from 1.1 miles east of Greenstone Road undercrossing to 0.3 mile west of El Dorado Road. Motorists are advised that various lane restrictions will take place during the project’s duration and delays can be expected to range from 20 minutes up to 50 min¬utes. The speed limit is subject to change in the work zone and can be lowered by as much as 10 miles per hour:
Motorists can expect lane closures:
Westbound on US50 from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. Friday through Sunday April 20 – 30
Eastbound on US50 from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday through Monday May 5 –14
The prime contractor on this project is Doug Veercamp General Engineering, Inc. of Placerville, California. Roadside message boards will be used to post the latest information. Please be advised this schedule is subject to change without notification due to weather conditions and contractor discretion.
