Supervisor John Knight Last week: Supervisor Knight recommending the Board adopt a Resolution stating that the implementation of United Nations Agenda 21 strategies for "sustainable development" at the federal, state and local governments across the country will have destructive repercussions and we hereby endorse rejection of its radical policies and rejections of any grant monies attached to it.

Supervisor John Knight This week: I intend to pull Item 20, and place it off calendar. I cannot support the resolution as written. I believe the issue of local land use control vs. regional cooperation is an item of great complexity and warrants a lengthier and more thoughtful discussion by our Board than we will be able to give that issue on today's fully packed agenda. It is my job to best represent the interests of my colleagues on the Board and the citizens of El Dorado County to ensure that these laws are compatible with the rural lifestyle we enjoy in El Dorado County. While I, as a Board member, am committed to maximizing our local autonomy over issues of local concern and fully support the private property rights of our citizens, I, and my fellow Board members, are also committed to working with other jurisdictions over issues of regional significance like our highways, through organizations such as SACOG and RCRC. In addition, we as a subdivision of the state, are bound by the various land use planning and environmental laws adopted by the state legislature, regardless of our personal opinions as to their wisdom. We must work to streamline our local regulations to make them as supportive of our constituents' local desires as possible while complying with the state and federal laws that govern our actions. I believe the Board should engage in the discussion about how State laws pertaining to land use, water right, natural resources and transportation planning and funding affect the County; I believe that as we go forward with amending and streamlining our local land use rules, the public should be fully engaged in the discussion of local control.

RESOLUTION NO.

OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF EL DORADO

Exposing United Nations Agenda 21

WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of extreme environmentalism, social engineering, and global political control that was initiated at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, in 1992; and,

WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 is being covertly pushed into local communities throughout the United States of America through the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) through local “sustainable development” policies such as Smart Growth, Wildlands Project, Resilient Cities, Regional Visioning Projects, and other “Green” or “Alternative” projects; and,

WHEREAS, this United Nations Agenda 21 plan of radical so-called “sustainable development” views the American way of life of private property ownership, single family homes, private car ownership and individual travel choices, and privately owned farms; all as destructive to the environment; and,

WHEREAS, according to the United Nations Agenda 21 policy, social justice is described as the right and opportunity of all people to benefit equally from the resources afforded us by society and the environment which would be accomplished by socialist/communist redistribution of wealth: and,

WHEREAS, according to the United Nations Agenda 21 policy National sovereignty is deemed a social injustice.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in order to protect property rights, the Board of Supervisors of the County of El Dorado recognizes the insidious nature of United Nations Agenda 21 and hereby exposes to the public and public policy makers the dangerous intent of the plan; and therefore be it further

RESOLVED, that neither the U.S. government nor state or local government is legally bound by the United Nations Agenda 21 treaty in that the treaty has never been ratified by the U.S. Senate; and therefore be it further

RESOLVED, that the implementation of United Nations Agenda 21 strategies for “sustainable development” at the federal and state and local governments across the country will have destructive repercussions and we hereby endorse rejection of its radical policies and rejection of any grant monies attached to it.

So just what does flip-flopper Knight believe in? Can he make up his mind and stick with a decision? Can he be trusted to do the right thing just because it's right? Or is he always the indecisive political animal we often see in play?

Agenda 21

Wow am I impressed... Thank you for your willingness, against all odds of protecting us from the World takeover of life as we know it... :) I hold you Supervisor Knight in High Regard.

In high regard? You must not know...

...how long Sue Taylor and George Turnboo have been telling the Board of Supervisors about this problem. Which means Supervisor Knight knew about this for a long time and only recently flipped when he found that too many others knew about Agenda 21. Don't be fooled, and don't try and fool others.

Yes, I too worry about the country with strongest military on the planet being assimilated by our Alien Ovelords. I think I'll head out and catch "Battleship" for the Matinee price.

Say good Knight - Vote for "Mik"

I want to believe Supervisor Knight had no idea what he was doing, but to believe that would cause me to believe he doesn't deserve to stay. So, how about if I believe he knew what he was doing, well, then, he still must go. One more scenario, he didn't know, because he didn't pay enough attention to Sue Taylor, George Turnboo and the countless others... again, an honest man would step down.
