House Fire in Pollock Claims Life of Ladonna Flynn, Tyler Flynn's Mother

Her neighbor said the Democrat story was wrong in that It happened Saturday not Sunday and there were 3 dogs involved, not 2. It is speculated that she went back in after the dogs.

Tyler Flynn, who wore the number 44, was a three-sport star who graduated from El Dorado in 1996. He was tragically killed in an automobile accident the next year and his mother and father, Dan and Ladonna Flynn, and friends and supporters, honor his memory with a charity golf tournament.

El Dorado County Fire District was dispatched to a residential fire at 3367 Hazel St. in Pollock Pines on Sunday at 3:28 p.m. Once there, they found a 61-year-old woman sitting on the front steps. The woman would succumb to injuries later that day.

Engine 17 and Medic 17 were the first to arrive, finding the woman, later identified as Ladonna Flynn, sitting on the steps with “serious burns,” said Battalion Chief Mike Pott. Medic 17 immediately began caring for her and transported her UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. She later died there.
