In order to fill this vacancy, the El Dorado County Board of Education is now accepting applications by appointment. The provisional appointment will last until December 13, 2024. As an appointed incumbent, the incumbent is eligible to run for election in November 2024.<\/p>\n<p data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"3a3157d1-9a7e-49bb-885b-1d9a927a5e4e\">It is required that applicants be at least 18 years old and live within Area 1, which can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edcgov.us\/Government\/BOS\/DistrictI\/Documents\/District%201%20map.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/EDCArea1<\/a>.
