Heaviest rain expected Monday night into Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong>IMPACTS<\/strong>&#8230;Excessive runoff from heavy rain and snow melt may result in flooding of roadways, rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Most<br \/>\nmainstem rivers have begun to recede with the exception of<br \/>\nportions of the Carson River near Carson, the Walker River near<br \/>\nSnyder Lane, and the Middle Fork Feather River near Portola.
