EL DORADO COUNTY (October 5, 2023) – In 2023, El Dorado County extended a process in community planning to further enhance and update the county’s Strategic Plan’s goals, objectives, and priorities. It is of utmost importance that this Plan remains a dynamic and relevant document, adapting to the ever-changing needs of our community. In light of this the county requested public input to ensuring that the residents of El Dorado County are provided with the best possible service and opportunities.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Reduce employee turnover, invest in employees, provide proper training and compensation.
\n\u2022 Bring more retail to stop the tax dollar leakage to Folsom.
\n\u2022 Increase transparency and visibility within County dealings.
\n\u2022 Hold evening or weekend Board of Supervisors Meetings to increase public participation, town hall style meetings.
\n\u2022 Listen to the constituents; keep your promises.
\n\u2022 More communication with\/information to the public.
\n\u2022 Look at the big-picture needs of the County rather than pet projects per district when choices have to be made with limited\/dwindling revenue\/resources.
