He has been a pivotal figure in the South Lake Tahoe community for 47 years, leaving an indelible mark. Tom served as the secretary/treasurer of LTWC and was instrumental in the organization’s founding in 1978. Furthermore, he dedicated 22 years of his life to the South Lake Tahoe Post Office before retiring in 2007.
Tom, alongside his wife Cheryl, first came to South Lake Tahoe to manage Bender’s Marina at Camp Richardson. Born in Burbank, California, Tom’s commitment to his adopted community has been unwavering.
A Life of Leadership and Service
Tom Millham’s accolades are numerous and diverse. He has served as a respected leader in the South Lake Tahoe community, co-founding Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care, actively participating in the Kiwanis Club, and being an invaluable contributor to the American Legion. His dedication extends to his country, as he served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
