The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office will host a blood drive in memory of Deputy Brian Ishmael. Deputy Ishmael was killed in the line of duty on October 23, 2019, after responding to a call for service. Deputy Ishmael, who was born in Placerville, served with the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office for 4 years and prior to that he served with Placerville Police Department.
