A friend of mine spoke with Tom, the owner of the company that won the two million dollar contract to build the park, and there is no estimated date of completion!
This is a 2 acre bike park on old Depot Road off Missouri flat. The county of El Dorado Parks and Recreation won a grant to build an awesome park here!
Selecting a contractor and plan took a while now of course COVID gets blamed for the delays but PG&e EID and then the rain we had this winter.
We’re in July of 2023 right now, there’s no reason for the delays to continue except that the contractor has spread their subs around too thin. They need to get in here and complete this work.
The company out of rancho Cordova that won this contract is a veteran-owned business. I have to say I’m a little disappointed in how they are running things! I am a veteran on business too and set a high standard!
