November 7, 2023, Cris Alarcon – EL DORADO COUNTY: In a heartwarming gesture of community solidarity, the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians has joined hands with the Food Bank of El Dorado County to offer a free Harvest Meal to those in need. This collaborative effort not only serves as a testament to the power of unity but also addresses the crucial issue of food security, particularly during the harvest season.

The free Harvest Meal program is a reflection of the Shingle Springs Miwok Indians’ commitment to supporting their local community. This initiative, done in partnership with the Food Bank of El Dorado County, extends a helping hand to those who may be facing food insecurity or struggling to make ends meet.

HARVEST MEAL Includes one frozen turkey and sides of stuffing, vegetables, potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, fruit, apple juice and milk.

Pick Up:
Monday, Nov. 20 9am – 2pm
4550 Business Drive, Cameron Park
No pre-registration
One Harvest Meal per family

Delivery to Homebound residents
Tribal Fire and Tribal Police will deliver to homebound residents. If you are homebound, please email your request to info@foodbankedc.org
