In breaking news, a pedestrian was involved in a collision on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, outside Oakridge High School on Harvard Way. The incident occurred around 8:04 a.m. near a crosswalk and the school’s upper parking lot, as confirmed by the California Highway Patrol.
According to reports from the CHP, a driver struck the pedestrian, although the circumstances leading to the crash have not been disclosed at this time. A school resource officer who was present at the scene immediately requested the assistance of paramedics. However, it is unclear from the report whether the injured pedestrian was transported to a hospital or if any of the individuals involved were students at Oakridge High School.
As of now, investigators are actively working to determine fault in this pedestrian accident on Harvard Way. Unfortunately, there is a lack of available information regarding the details that led to the accident. Additionally, the condition of the pedestrian remains undisclosed.
