Elizabeth Melgoza, spokesperson for the Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe #InEDC, confirmed the cost of construction to the Business Journal Friday, two days after the brand publicly confirmed the project was underway.
The hotel at 4130 Lake Tahoe Blvd., which is currently operating as the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, will reopen under the Margaritaville brand this winter, after undergoing extensive renovations.
The hotel, which sits at the heart of the south Tahoe tourist core between Heavenly Village and Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, has been operated by Davidson Hospitality Group since the property was bought by Brookfield Asset Management in 2021.
