This webpage provides the most current information on the Safety Element update process. It will provide you with background information, documents, resources, and opportunities to be involved in the process and provide feedback on the Safety Element.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.edcgov.us\/Government\/longrangeplanning\/Pages\/General-Plan-Safety-Element-Update.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.edcgov.us\/Government\/longrangeplanning\/Pages\/General-Plan-Safety-Element-Update.aspx\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The public survey is for the County\u2019s Climate Vulnerability Assessment (CVA). The purpose of this survey is to collect information from the public and stakeholders to better understand the climate vulnerabilities (such as wildfire or snowstorms) within the County as well as solicit input on the needs to best adapt to, mitigate, or reduce, the climate impacts before they occur.<\/p>\n<p>The survey should take less than 8 minutes to complete.
