Holiday assistance is for recipients who are low income and struggling to make ends meet. If you are homebound, please email your request to <a href=\"mailto:info@foodbankedc.org\">info@foodbankedc.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and Barsotti Family Juice Co. will join the community of donors by sponsoring the Holiday Outreach Program. The Tribal Fire Department and Tribal Police Department will partner with the Food Bank of El Dorado County to make deliveries to homebound residents.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible individuals should arrive at the Food Bank during their scheduled time. Individuals may only pick up for one family. The community comes together in one common cause procuring and providing all the fixins for a holiday meal to over 1,000 local families that might otherwise go without at Christmas.\u00a0 An excellent opportunity to bring the youth group or the kids and get them some hands on experience in helping their less fortunate neighbors during The Holiday season.
