PLACERVILLE, California (InEDC) Nov 30, 2022 \u2014 The Food Bank of El Dorado County will be hosting its annual Holiday Outreach Program on Saturday December 17th, at the Food Bank distribution facility. Holiday assistance is for recipients who are low income and struggling to make ends meet. If you are homebound, please email your request to info@foodbankedc.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n
The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and Barsotti Family Juice Co. will join the community of donors by sponsoring the Holiday Outreach Program. The Tribal Fire Department and Tribal Police Department will partner with the Food Bank of El Dorado County to make deliveries to homebound residents.<\/p>\n
Eligible individuals should arrive at the Food Bank during their scheduled time. Individuals may only pick up for one family. To determine your scheduled time, match the first letter of your last name with the times shown below:<\/p>\n
A-I \u2014 9am to 11am<\/strong><\/p>\n
J-R \u2014 11am to 1pm<\/strong><\/p>\n
S-Z \u2014 1pm to 3pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 25+ year tradition in El Dorado County, The Food Bank’s Annual Holiday Outreach is the favorite event of every year.<\/p>\n
Teamed with thousands of individuals, businesses, service clubs, faith based groups, children\u2019s groups, etc\u2026. The community comes together in one common cause procuring and providing all the fixins for a holiday meal to over 1,000 local families that might otherwise go without at Christmas.\u00a0 An excellent opportunity to bring the youth group or the kids and get them some hands on experience in helping their less fortunate neighbors during The Holiday season. Join your local Food Bank during The Holidays.<\/p>\n
